1. Is the orthodontist Board Certified?
Dr. Camacho is the only Board Certified orthodontist in Hollywood, Pembroke
Pines, Hallandale & Aventura*. Board certification is considered the highest level of
professional achievement an orthodontist can attain.
2. Besides Board Certification, what other distinctions does the orthodontist have?
Besides private practice, Dr. Camacho is also an Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics
at NOVA as well as Seton Hill University. For this reason, he is trusted by many of dentists in
our community to treat their own children and families.
3. How long has this practice been around for and is the orthodontist the owner?
Our practice was founded in 1996 and Dr. Camacho is the sole owner so that you can
be assured we will always be here and Dr. Camacho will be the only orthodontist who sees
you from the start to the finish of your treatment.
4. How experienced are the orthodontic assistants?
All of our orthodontic assistants have a combined 50+ years of experience in
orthodontics and many graduated from dental school in their native countries.
5. Is this practice a high volume or boutique style practice?
In contrast to many orthodontic practices that see over 70+ patients per day, we are a
boutique style practice seeing approx. 30 patients per day so that we have ample time to
devote to our patients and truly get to know them.
6. Who places the braces: the doctor or the assistants?
Dr. Camacho places the braces himself since only an orthodontist possesses the
knowledge and training needed to perform this crucial task.
